The Ledger turns a working session into a labeled, tamper-evident record: what you did, how each step is tagged, and the ability to open any change and prove just that part.
You work; it records.
Start a session, then log what happened — a prompt, an AI output, your own text, an edit, a selection, an approval. The Ledger suggests a tag from the provenance; you confirm or correct it, and that confirmation is itself evidence.

Thirteen kinds of contribution, three tiers.
Each thing you can log is sorted by how it supports a copyright claim — from human expression in the work, to the choices that shaped it, to the intent behind it.
Claim-bearing
Original human text, human modifications of AI material, arrangement embodied in the work, and post-production alterations of the expression itself.
Claim-supporting
Selections and rejections between alternatives, and final approvals — the exercise of creative taste and control.
Context
Intent, constraints, prompts, and direction. Recorded for completeness; not presented as conferring authorship over AI-generated expression.
